What the app and this site do with data.

The Perch app

  • No account system.
  • No telemetry of Perch's own.
  • Settings, seat records, hook events, and logs live under %APPDATA%\Perch.
  • The gateway engine, provider keys, and agent config sandboxes live under %LOCALAPPDATA%\Perch.
  • Provider keys are kept by the local gateway and are not written to Perch logs.

This site

  • No analytics and no advertising.
  • No language cookie; the language is in the URL.
  • The host may keep standard request logs.
  • The site sends no data to Perch.

Third parties

  • Agent CLIs have their own network behavior and policies.
  • magpie has its own policies.
  • Agent installers and the gateway engine are downloaded from their official sources.

Perch is not offline software. The gateway engine and agent CLIs make network requests according to their own configuration.
