The public beta, in order. Earlier builds are on GitHub Releases.
v0.1.0-beta.32026-10-27Latest public beta
Workspaces first, a focused first-run guide, and a rebuilt file rail
- Workspaces is the first screen; the rail order is Workspaces / Overview / Settings.
- A new Agent must belong to a real Project. The synthetic default area is hidden from Workspaces and reserved for Chat.
- The setup guide appears only when New Agent has no launchable options. It has three steps; finishing closes it without navigating or launching an agent.
- Shared Workspace Brief: one brief per Project, written to .perch/workspace.md and handed to agents on their next launch.
- Overview and the right rail were rebuilt; the duplicate Flow module is gone and child agents are hidden for the 1.0 redesign.
- Files rail: Touched is a flat work list; All starts at the root, remembers expansion per Project, and uses relative paths.

No console flash, a real first-run flow, and installer fixes
- No console flash: the release binary and hook use the Windows GUI subsystem.
- First-run setup became a real flow: choose an agent, connect the gateway and models, choose a workspace and language, review, and open.
- Installer fixes: the Windows system proxy is passed to the whole installer process tree; Pi checks the required Node version; Claude's current ~/.local/bin/claude.exe path is preferred.
- No restart after gateway setup: agent models refresh when the gateway connects or configuration changes.
- No silent agent fallback: a failed profile stops the launch instead of letting the agent start with stale local config.
- Setup review polish: one status seal, a quiet review table, and long paths wrap.
