01 — Terminals
Every pane is a real terminal.
ConPTY, real scrollback, real job objects. Switch panes without losing a line. The terminal is the product surface, not an emulation of one.
A workspace for agent CLIs
Perch gives every agent a real terminal, one place to see status, and a built-in gateway that connects models to each agent.

ConPTY, real scrollback, real job objects. Switch panes without losing a line. The terminal is the product surface, not an emulation of one.
02 — Attention
Transcript, hooks and the visible screen have to agree before Perch says an agent is waiting. Collapse the grid and the work board gives every agent one fixed row.
Gateway
Perch includes a local gateway and applies models per pane. Gateway and provider configuration stay in Perch's own directory, apart from your other agent configuration.

Install, configure, launch, and resume from the same list. Status depth depends on what each agent exposes.

Official docs →Full means Perch can read the agent's own state signals, including tool activity where the agent exposes it. Status only means Perch can show working, waiting, or idle, but not tool actions.
Qoder, Copilot, and Cursor use their own sign-in. DeepSeek Harness tool execution depends on the upstream dsh-tui build.
Desktop and web clients are outside this list. Any client that accepts a custom base URL can use the gateway.
A single portable executable. No installer, no account, no bundled keys. Unsigned, so SmartScreen may ask. macOS is in development.
